Flights between Iran and the UK will resume on May 6, as the UK has unveiled a plan to lift its coronavirus restrictions.
According to the UK government figures, the average number of new daily cases in the country has fallen substantially since the start of the year.
"Flights to the UK are scheduled on Sundays and Thursdays, leaving Imam Khomeini Airport at 9:20 a.m. and arriving at the London airport [Heathrow] at 12:10 p.m. [local time] from May 6. The return flights are to leave the London's Heathrow on Sundays and Mondays at 2:10 p.m. local time and arrive at Imam Khomeini Airport at 11:40 p.m.," Hossein Jahani, the director of IranAir Public Relations Department, was quoted as saying by IRNA.
With the new mutated coronavirus outbreak in the UK, Iran cancelled all flights to/from London in December.
