A total of 14,047 homes were sold in the capital during the fourth month of the current fiscal year (June 21-July 21), registering a 30.3% rise compared with the preceding month. 
They saw a year-on-year growth of 193.3% compared with the 4,790 deals in the corresponding month of last year. 
Data published by Central Bank of Iran on its website indicate that the average price of each square meter of a residential property in Tehran stood at 209.09 million rials ($886) during the month under review, showing a surge of 56.6% over last year’s same month as average prices were registered at 133.51 million rials ($566) then. 
Home prices in the capital city increased by 10.4% compared to 189.48 million rials ($803) in the third month of the current year.
