SCI Reviews Price Changes in Tehran Construction Materials

Out of 179 materials used in construction in Tehran Province examined by the Statistical Center of Iran during the second half of the last Iranian year (Sept. 23, 2019-March 19), copper sheet registered the highest price increase with 82.5% and jute fiber posted the sharpest price decrease with 17.7% compared with H1 of the same year (March 21-Sept. 22, 2019). 
Compared with the same period of the year before (Sept. 23, 2018-March 20, 2019), copper sheet prices increased by 120.9%, the highest, whereas the prices of bronze profile fell 64.7%, the sharpest price decrease among 179 items.
The general price index of construction materials for residential properties in Tehran stood at 457.4 in the fourth quarter of last Iranian year (Dec. 22, 2019-March 19), according to the Statistical Center of Iran.
