Tehran’s stock market opened in negative territory on Monday but managed to regain some lost ground late in the session as the TEDPIX, the benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, closed 9,274 points higher, or 0.5%, to stay at 1,822,117.
The TSE’s equal-weighted index lost 3,519 points to end in red.
About 11.88 billion shares valued at 204.23 trillion rials ($877.95 mllion) changed hands at TSE for the day.
