Banks Deposits Rise to $182b in Iran

Banks customers had 23,725.6 trillion rials ($182.5 billion) in deposits with banks and credit institutions by the end of the seventh month of the current fiscal year (October 22), according to the Central Bank of Iran. 
The figure indicates an increase of 5,356.2 trillion rials ($41.2 billion) during one year, also showing 29.2% growth compared to the end of corresponding month last year, the bank said in a report.
Deposits rose 14.8% compared to the end of the last fiscal year (March 2019), when the amount was 20,673.4 trillion rials ($159 billion) in banks.
