Tehran Subway System Getting Disabled-Friendly

Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Operation Company is trying to adjust the expanding subway system to make it more friendly to the disabled.
Entrance gates, elevators, and escalators are to be renovated  to meet the needs of disabled people, the company said on its website, metro.tehran.ir.
The plan entails offering wheelchair access and services to those with impaired vision or hearing.
