2 More Cities Join Snapp Pool: Iran Ride-Hailing

The widely used ride-hailing application Snapp has made inroads in two more cities, increasing the number of cities to 69.
Residents in Shahr-e Kord, in Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari Province and Amol, in Mazandaran Province can now use the on-demand carpool services, the firm reported on its website.
In order to promote the services, Snapp is offering one free ride in the two cities. To benefit from the offer, while pooling a ride people need to enter the code "Salam-SA", which means "hello" in Persian with the initials of Shahr-e Kord and Amol added at the end.
Users of Android devices can download Snapp’s app from major app stores like Google Play and local Android market Cafe Bazaar, and iOS users can get the app from Snapp's own website.
In addition to Tehran and the two provinces mentioned above, Snapp offers services in Yazd, East and West Azarbaijan, Ardebil, Isfahan, Alborz, Bushehr, Khorasan Razavi, Khuzestan, Zanjan, Semnan, Fars, Qazvin, Qom, Kordestan, Kerman, Gilan, Lorestan, Hormozgan, and Hamedan.
Snapp  says 300,000 drivers work for the company and it boasts 10 million plus registered users. The company says it receives more than one million trip requests every day.
