Iran’s automotive industry has had a rollercoaster of a year such that stagnancy hampered production for a protracted period.
The industry became so overwhelmed by rising inventory that the government and Central Bank of Iran rushed to save it by offering hefty loans to buyers and offload the warehouses.Buyers during the short lived National Auto Loan came in their droves to purchase cars but only a select group managed to grab the limited financial offering.
Foreign car makers too, have also upped their game when it comes to entering the Iranian market, with a slew of European car companies pushing for a quick market entry.
