The newly reinstated car industry quality audit, introduced by the ministry of industry, mine, and trade last Saturday, will be implemented as of June 22, Saeed Tajik, a top official in Iran Standards and Quality Inspection Company said, Persiankhodro reported on Wednesday.
"The inspection company has been given the authority to prepare the audit, Tajik said.
Given massive changes in the industry in recent years, the industry ministry began working on a new version of the quality audit. The decision has been sent to all supervising bodies in the Iranian car industry. The audit seeks to improve the status of all car producers who are now subject to tighter regulations which must be applied on production lines.
