Veteran modern artist Ali Akbar Mikhak has displayed his paintings in an exhibition at Farmanfarma Gallery in Tehran. Titled “Conversations,” the exhibit features 30 paintings by the 70-year-old artist and will run until September 28, Honaronline reported. The artworks show large abstract Persian alphabet letters in various forms painted on waves of colors on canvas. Born in Isfahan, Mikhak studied art and set design at the School of Fine Arts in Rome. According to the artist, his paintings have been influenced by his birthplace and Persian traditional art. He has held various solo and group exhibitions in Iran and Italy. The venue is located at No. 2, Arabi Alley, N. Kheradmand St. off Karim Khan Zand Avenue.
