Iranian Artists Forum opened on Sunday an exhibition of posters by young illustrators on the subject of war. The show features more than 100 posters by artists 20 to 30 years old, ISNA reported. The event is among the programs to mark Sacred Defense Week (September 22-28), the annual commemoration of the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war that killed an estimated one million people on both sides. “A total of 110 works created recently are on display and show the young people’s perception about and approach to war,” said Masoud Nejabati, head of visual arts at Revayat Cultural Institute, the organizer of the show. Located at Artists Park, Iranshahr St., Taleqani St., the IAF will show the works until September 25.
