At the show titled “From Contour to Calligraphy” there are 38 posters the artist has designed during the past 20 years, ISNA reported.
In his works Saeedi uses his experience in graphic design, Persian calligraphy and typography to transform Farsi letters into a variety of forms and shapes, rendering unique concepts in graphic designing.
A large number of his artworks have been selected for display in many prominent museums, collections and major domestic and international exhibitions. They have also been published in several reputable international magazines.
Saeedi has won dozens of prizes locally and internationally, including the Grand Prize at Exhibition of Visual Arts in Iran, 1998 and 1999, and Honorable Mention at the 7th International Biennial of Poster in Mexico, 2002.
