Rezayan Art Gallery is holding a solo painting exhibition dedicated to the works of artist Mehdi Rezaeian.
Most of the works depict rural scenes. Two of the works show the historical village of Abyaneh, in Isfahan Province, one in summer and the other when snow envelopes the ancient mountain village, Galleryinfo.ir reported.
Located on the foothills of Karkas Mountains, 40km northwest of Natanz in Isfahan, Abyaneh is incomparable to any other place in the world in terms of the beauty and splendor of its traditional architecture. The exterior of the houses in the terraced village and tiny alleys are mostly covered with red soil from a nearby mine and gives the village a unique look.
Located at No. 14, West Taban Street, Africa Boulevard, the gallery will be showing the paintings through October 3.
