A solo sculpture and installation exhibition by graphic and furniture designer Mohammad Rasoulinezhad opened on Friday at Saless Gallery and will run until September 5.
At the exhibit “On a Thirsty Summer Dusk,” the visual artist and carpenter has featured his sculptural chairs as part of installation art, Infogallery reported on its website.
Rasoulinezhad, 39, has used calligraphy in his wooden works. Most of his chairs are handmade from walnut wood.
Based in Karaj, Rasoulinezhad has studied graphics in Tehran Azad University. As his father was a professional carpenter, he learned the craft from his father, working with him for eight years.
Since 2001, he has shown his works of calligraphy and sculpture in several solo and group exhibits.
The venue is located at No. 148, between Mahshahr and Iranshahr streets, Karimkhan Avenue.
