Memoirs of an American psychotherapist Irvin D. Yalom is now available in Persian. The autobiographical book “Becoming Myself” has been translated by Hossein Kazemi-Yazdi and published by Pendar Taban Publication.

Yazdi has translated other psychological works by Yalom too, Honaronline reported. Yalom, 87, an accomplished psychotherapist and nonfiction author, famous for “When Nietzsche Wept,” has made a career in investigating the lives and works of notable psychologists. In the current book, he turns his writing and his therapeutic eye on himself.

According to Goodreads.com, as the book unfolds, one sees the birth of the insightful thinker whose books have been a beacon to many. This is not simply a man’s life story, Yalom’s reflections on his life and development are an invitation for readers to reflect on the origins of their own selves and the meaning of life.
