Vista Art Gallery in Tehran will hold an exhibition featuring 100 paintings by Kourosh Sarmadi.  Dubbed “Zero and One” the exhibit will be a showcase of portraits Sarmadi has made in small sizes, most of which are 15x20 cm. Some works are colored while others are in black and white, Mehr News Agency reported.   Sarmadi’s paintings are bold color patches on cardboard. In the process of the painting, he has started with dark colors and moved to light shades. In his other works he goes the other way around. Among the presented works is a portrait of veteran Iranian- Armenian composer Loris Tjeknavorian.  The exhibition will open on August 24 and continue for a week. Vista gallery is located at No. 11, 12th Alley, Mir-Emad Street, Motahari Avenue.
