Adaptation of the surreal satirical play “The Decomposed Theater or the Human Trashcan” written by Romanian playwright Matei Vişniec is on stage at Mehregan Theater House until August 24.
The play directed by Nader Naderpour includes episodic scenes about individuals who have no control over their situation including a man locked for life in a circle, a man pursued by a horse, some brainwashers and a runner who can no longer stop, Tiwall reported.
The cast includes Faezeh Ahmadi, Javad Eynanlou, Bahar Beygzadeh, Paria Jafar-Mohammadi, Hamideh Jafari, Sajjad Khalifeh-Hashemi, Mehdi Shams and Hamidreza Sangiyan.
Vişniec, 62, is a dramatist, poet, novelist and journalist who lives and works in France. Since 1987, he has written 30 plays in his native language and 20 in French.
The venue is located at No. 5, 1st Dead end, Khark St, Enqelab Ave.
