Modernist trends and movements in visual art in Iran are to be reviewed by a group of acclaimed artists on August 20 at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran.
The artists will share their knowledge on “Modernist Movements in Visual Art in Iran” with the participants, Onlineartgallery.ir reported.
Illustrator and animator Farshid Mesqali; painter, sketch artist and sculptor Gholam-Hossein Nami; art critic and researcher, freelance author and photographer Siamak Delzendeh; and graphic designer, illustrator, sketch artist, calligrapher and sculptor Bahram Kalhornia are the artists who will speak at the meeting. Curator and visual journalist Amir Soqrati is the only young lecturer.
Organized under the auspices of the IAF, Iran Painters Association and Iranian Graphic Designers Society, the meeting is open to the public. IAF is located inside Artists Park on Iranshahr Street.
