Discount at Bookshops From August 21

Selected bookshops across the country will offer discount during the Summer Book Sale, a nation-wide program organized by the Book House Institute starting from August 21. The Book House website is open to registration for bookstores until August 18. Last year over 500 bookshops participated in the program with Tehran having the highest number of stores. It was followed by Qom, Khorasan Razavi, Isfahan and Kurdistan provinces. This year book enthusiasts will get a 25% discount on books written by Iranian authors and 15% for translated titles, Mehr News Agency reported. The sale will last a week in Tehran while in other cities it will be a 10-day event. Every year Book House Institute organizes promotional programs in all four seasons to encourage people to read and buy books.
