Well-known musical scores by leading composers of the 20th century will be performed in a classical piano and violin recital at Roudaki Hall of Tehran on Thursday.
Violinist Arash Asadnezhad and piano player Karen Salajaqeh will perform, ISNA reported on its Persian website.
Asadnezhad has performed at the national orchestra and Tehran Symphonic orchestra. Salajaqeh has studied music in Conservatory Regional Influence of Paris and performed a quartet and a solo concert in Cite Internationale Universitaire in Paris in 2017.
The repertoire or the upcoming concert includes “Theme and Variations” by French composer and organist Oliver Messiaen, “Candanse for violin solo” by Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki, “Sonata for violin and piano” by Turkish Pianist Fazil Say, “Tzigane” by French composer and pianist Maurice Ravel, “Passacaglia” by Estonian composer Arvo Pärt and “Fuge for violin solo” by German composer Alfred Schnittke.
