Located on Jolfa Street, northwest of Seyyed-Khandan Bridge, Arasbaran will host the “Rhythm of Peace” on August 7-8, Mehr News Agency reported.

Participants will play selected compositions performed by and recorded in the writings of composer, percussionist and tonbak virtuoso Farbod Yadollahi, 50. The virtuoso has written three books on percussion performance, all with innovative approaches.

The event will be organized in the form of a contest. Performances will be evaluated by percussionists Mohammad Goudarzi from Aligudarz, Samaneh Golkar from Tehran, and Moslem Zarei from Sanandaj, as well as tonbak virtuosos Behrang Padir from Tabriz and Mohammad-Ali Assarzadeh from Yazd.
