Jurassic Park

Ancient creatures that once walked on Earth can still be seen in a northwestern corner of Tehran.

Jurassic Park is located near Behroud Square, north of Parvaz Garden Park, between the two neighborhoods of Sa’adatabad and Farahzad. There, the dinosaurs still move and roar after millions of years.

Covering an area of 30,000 square meters, the park features a total of 28 moving dinosaur statues.

Few know the dinosaurs by their names; so their scientific names and descriptions are given on the plaques in front. They have a realistic make. Some of them are in actual size. From the corner of compromising eyes, they are believable.

Some of them wave hands, some move their legs, some blink and some bare their sharp long teeth. There is also a giant egg that hatches in slow motion.

Founded in 2014, the park also features educational workshops and informative films. A 3D movie is played at the Jurassic Studio of the park. Snack booths, a café and a parking lot are among other facilities of the park.
