Imam Jomeh House, a building made during the reign of Qajar king Nasser al-Din Shah (1848-1896), is a luxurious symbol of Qajar architecture.
The house is located in downtown Tehran, on Imam Jomeh Alley, Naser Khosrow Street. It was built to house Qajar politician Mirza Aqa Khan Nuri (1807-1865), who was Nasser al-Din Shah’s prime minister from 1851 to 1858.
Later it was owned by the Tehran Friday prayer leader Mirza Zeyn-ol-Abedin Tehrani (1844-1903), hence its name and the name of the alley.
