Ronak Folk Band to Perform Ethnic Concert

Ronak folk band is to stage a concert with three singers at Vahdat Hall in Tehran on August 2.

Led by vocalist and daf player Keyvan Ali-Mohammadi, Ronak was founded 17 years ago, and since then the band has held concerts in Italy, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkmenistan, Russia, Germany and the UAE.

Their repertoire often comprises pieces belonging to different ethnic Iranian groups as well as traditional, pop and world music pieces, Honaronline reported on its Persian website.

 Saeed Esmaeilzadeh and Vahid Abdollahi are the other two singers at the event along with Ali-Mohammadi.

The event organizer Ehsan Mir-Ziaei has asked fans to attend the concert in traditional costumes.
