Radin Art Gallery in Mashhad is exhibiting the brightly hued abstract paintings of American artist Thomas Berding under the title of “The Chronic Disassembly Roadshow”.

Berding is not attending the exhibit in person; however, he made a video appearance on the opening day, July 13, in which he talked to visitors and explained his works and the techniques he employs in creating them.

Thomas Berding was born in Ohio and received his master’s degree from Rhode Island School of Design. His paintings have been recognized with awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and NEA/Mid America Arts Alliance.

Berding lives and works in East Lansing where he is professor of studio art at Michigan State University.

Radin Gallery is located at No. 10, Golriz 2 Alley, Sajjad Boulevard. It will show the works till July 22.

Farzad Art Gallery, another gallery in Mashhad, located in the vicinity of Radin Gallery, also hosted some of the American artist’s works for five days from July 13 to 17.
