Leila Hatami and Spanish actress Elena Martinez are playing in Ali-Reza Raisian’s latest movie “A Lonely Man” set in the city of Marbella and Malaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain.
Raisian, also the producer, has chosen the southern Spanish cities for the story of his film. It is about a woman (played by Hatami) who travels to Spain for business, but the trip, which is her first, changes her life, IRNA reported on its Persian website.
The film pictures her marital problems and the consequent state of loneliness her husband finds himself in.
“I had prepared myself to speak English in the shots, but Leila Hatami insisted that we speak Spanish,” Martinez said.
Hatami has been in Malaga for 10 days, playing her role. Her husband Ali Mosaffa is also in the cast.
