Tehran-based Noon Publication has recently released a Persian translation of “The Woman in Cabin 10,” written by British psychological crime thriller author Ruth Ware.
According to IBNA, the story follows Laura Blacklock, a travel magazine writer, who has the opportunity to travel on a small privately-owned cruise ship’s maiden voyage. Robbed in her own apartment a couple of days before departure, she suffers from a traumatic experience. On the ship, she borrows mascara from the woman next door in Cabin 10 when she cannot find her own.
Later she sees the woman thrown overboard. Laura informs the crew and the security guards. To her shock and astonishment the author is told the person who had booked that cabin later cancelled the booking and that the cabin was vacant.
The title has been rendered into Persian by Zahra Hedayati in 368 pages.
