Two galleries at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran are showing works of artist Mohammad Nasseripour. Titled “60 Years With Mohammad Nasseripour,” 110 artworks of various mediums, including two maquettes of the tomb of the eminent poet Hafez in Shiraz and mausoleum of poet and hagiographer Attar of Nishabur are on show.  In the replicas he has included details of the tile designs (kashi kari) of the two monuments. Kashi kari is method of hand painting ceramic products, in particular tiles and pottery, also known as blue pottery. Among the exhibited works are paintings of flowers, animals and portraits created with watercolor technique, ISNA reported on its Persian website.   Part of the exhibit is dedicated to his paintings of monuments like Persepolis in Shiraz and tomb of Persian poet Ferdowsi (940-1020) in Tous. Nasseripour, who holds an MA in art and architecture from University of Tehran, has held many exhibitions in and outside Iran, but this event is his first in Iran after almost a quarter century. During the course of his career, Nasseripour has created  drawings, illuminations, and Persian miniature.The venue, located at Honarmandan (Artists) Park on Iranshahr Street, will host the works until July 10.
