Loto Music Band will perform concerts on Thursday and Friday at Godfather Café in Tehran.
With an acoustic guitar and a flute, the two-member band will play folk songs and old songs from across the world and a selection of soundtracks.
Meysam Nadafian plays the flute and Ebrahim Mousapour is on the guitar. “Donna Donna” is in the repertoire. It is an originally Yiddish song about a calf being led to slaughter written by Sholom Secunda and Aaron Zeitlin. A 1960 version of Donna Donna by American singer and songwriter Joan Baez is among the popular editions of the song.
