Best of Bach, Monteverdi, Vivaldi and More

Baroque Music Ensemble is to perform a classical concert at Roudaki Hall in Tehran on July 13-14.
The group will play musical pieces from Baroque masters including Italian composer Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583-1643), British composer Henry Purcell (1659-1695), Italian violinist and composer Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741), German composer Georg Philip Telemann and British composer William Babell (1688-1723), Honaronline reported on its Persian website. 
Baroque is a style of western classical music composed from 1600 to 1750 and forms a major part of the “classical music” canon. Key composers of the Baroque music (other than those mentioned above) include Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), George Frideric Handel (1726-1759) and Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643).
