Milad: A Towering Experience

Milad: A Towering Experience
Milad: A Towering Experience

Standing tall and lonesome between the four expressways (Hemmat, Chamran, Hakim and Sheikh-Fazlollah) is Milad Tower, the tallest building in Iran.

The tower is the best spot to get a nice view of the sprawling capital spreading in all four directions. Nowhere else in the city can one find such a unique panorama.

But it is not just a simple tower 435 meters from the base. It is full of entertainment facilities. Its Convention Center plays host to major pop concerts; while its revolving restaurant, which humbles the food courts below, is famous for its luxurious treats. Speaking of luxury, the multi-purpose tower also includes a 5-star hotel and a VIP restaurant, as well as six elevators that move visitors up and down with a speed of 7 meters per second. At the head of the tower is a steel structure weighing 25,000 tons and consisting of 12 floors. Restaurants are in this area as are a cafeteria and a public art gallery.
