Elif Shafak’s Şemspare  for Persian Speakers

A collection of essays by the celebrated Turkish-British author Elif Shafak has been translated in Persian by Saber Hosseini and published by Morvarid Publication.
Titled “Şemspare” (Pieces of the Sun), the book contains 65 essays on gender, identity, social issues, ethnic and religious conflicts, women, literature and politics, ISNA reported on its Persian website.
A novelist, essayist, academic, public speaker and women’s rights activist, Shafak, 46, has published 16 novels and nonfiction books that have been translated into 49 languages.
