Iranian Architecture Center in Tehran is to hold on Wednesday a seminar on “Façade Engineering,” one of the main elements in aesthetic of buildings and urban landscape. The center’s first seminar on the subject is aimed at introducing practical considerations in architectural facades, Honaronline reported on its Persian website. Architect Vahid Ahmad-Soltani, specializing in façade engineering, will speak at the seminar. The meeting will cover topics on new materials for facades, climate-friendly designs, financial and technical aspects, structure of façade, energy and façade, introduction to modern materials in surface of façade, instruments and equipment, health and safety standards in façade and implementation procedures. The center is located at No. 18, Alley 10, Qaem-Maqam Street, Beheshti Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.
