An exhibition of paintings by artists Sara Baradaran and Ghazal Shahbazi is underway at Arasbaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
Fifteen works of art are on show at the event scheduled to continue till June 21. Some of Baradaran’s paintings are landscapes created with acrylic and palette knife following a combination of the styles of abstraction and Impressionism. Her other works, created with similar technique, show urban neighborhoods, Honaronline reported on its Persian website.
In her collage artworks, Shahbazi has taken inspiration from the poems of the 13th century mystic Persian poet Rumi and Sufi spiritual dance. Poems of Rumi can be seen written in some of her works.
The cultural center is located at Jolfa Street on Shariati Avenue.
