Classical vocalist Ramin Majlesi has released an album of nine arias for bass.
The album “Bass Arias,” consists of nine arias which are a selection of long, accompanied songs for solo voice, typically in opera or oratorio, the Persian-language website of Honaronline wrote.
The arias, selected for the album, are from memorable operas across the world, composed by renowned musicians including German composer and conductor Richard Wagner (1813-1883); Italian opera composer Vincenzo Bellini (1801-1835); Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901); and Austrian composer Wolfganfg Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791).
Catalogue of the album includes information about the pieces and Persian translations of lyrics. The album is published by Studio Imaj in Tabriz.
Majlesi, 46, was born in Tabriz. Inspired by Azeri vocalists, he started singing at a young age and has sung as soloist in various orchestras including the Tabriz Philharmonic Orchestra.
