Domus Romana Art Gallery in Rome is hosting a group exhibition of artworks by contemporary Iranian visual artists. Titled “Iranian Arts,” the exhibition opened June 5 for a week. It is organized by the Iranian Embassy in that country and the Institute for Promotion of Contemporary Visual Art affiliated to Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. On display are works by 70 artists and their reflections on the contemporary world, IRNA reported on its Persian website. Mostly paintings, the works have retained Iranian traditional aesthetics while set in new and innovative atmospheres.
