Tehran Flute Choir is to release a new album by summer from its musical performances in European concerts.
The album will feature two musical collections including tracks from the ensemble’s European concerts in Switzerland and Austria alongside new pieces recorded in Iran, Mehr News Agency reported on its Persian website.
“Conducted by Saeed Taqaddosi, the group has recently performed in European cities including Zurich, Feldkirch, Graz and Vienna; the pieces are featured in the album. Tehran Flute Choir rehearsed over six months for the concerts,” manager of the band Firouzeh Navai said.
The performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s concerto (Konzert für Cello in C-Moll, RV.401), played by cellists Payam Taqaddos and Kian Soltani alongside saxophone player Nina Klinar is one of the tracks in the album.
