Beheshti branch of Book City in Tehran will be hosting two discussions to study the different features of “The Hadiqat al Haqiqa” (Walled Garden of Truth), mystical poetry book of Persian poet Hakim Sanaei Ghaznavi (1080-1131). The sessions, to be chaired by Maryam Hosseini, a professor of literature at Tehran’s Alzahra University, are scheduled for May 9 and 16 at the venue located at 3rd Alley, Bucharest Street, Beheshti Avenue, ISNA reported on its Persian website. Abul-Majd Majdud ibn Adam Sanai Ghaznavi served Bahram-Shah of Ghazni (1084-1157), sultan of the Ghaznavid Empire, as a court poet, spending years praising the king and his court.
