Planning Own Death

The 1997 drama “Taste of Cherry” directed by world-renowned Iranian auteur Abbas Kiarostami (1940-2016) is set to have one screening at Iranian Artists Forum on May 7, Tiwall reported.
It is a minimalist film about a middle-aged man who drives through a city suburb looking for someone who can carry out the task of burying him after he commits suicide. Driving around the city, the seemingly well-to-do man meets numerous people, asking them to take on the job. Eventually, he finds a man who is up for the task because he needs the money.
