Rooberoo Mansion Will Host Int’l Theater Project

Rooberoo Mansion in Tehran is to host an international theater residency project on May 8-11.
Artists from Lebanon, Germany, Belgium, Afghanistan and Turkey will attend the event and collaborate with four participants from Iran, Mehr News Agency reported.
Titled “Theatricultural Exchange Program”, the event has been jointly organized by Bohemi Theater Group and Rooberoo Mansion for the second time.
“Participants are specialized in acting, directing and puppetry. They will develop theatrical ideas and discuss various methods of producing a play,” Fariborz Karimi, artistic director of the program, said.
The artists will rehearse on common intercultural ideas, hold solo performances, communicate with Iranian actors and directors, and watch and review each other’s works.
