University of Tehran will host an exhibition of documentary photographs of the people in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
Titled ‘As Bright as Sistan’s Sun, as Warm as Baluchestan’s Embrace,’ the exhibition features a selection of photos taken by members of ‘Sabeqoun’ educational institution who went to the remote parts of the southeastern province to conduct educational and training courses for people.
Slated for April 28-May 1, the exhibition is a visual anthropology of the region. One of the goals of the event is to help spread awareness among students about social responsibility toward people living in poor and less-privileged regions, Honaronline reported on its Persian website.
The exhibition will be held near Tehran University’s central library. Tehran University is on Enqelab Avenue, between Qods and 16-Azar streets.
