Cinematheque of Qolhak Cineplex on April 28 will show the 2017 neo-western mystery ‘Wind River’ written and directed by Taylor Sheridan.
Cory Lambert is a wildlife officer who finds the body of an 18-year-old girl on an American Indian reservation in snowy Wyoming, a state in the mountain region of the western US. When the autopsy reveals that she was raped, FBI agent Jane Banner arrives to investigate. Teaming up with Lambert as a guide, the duo soon find that their lives are in danger while trying to solve the mystery of the teen’s death, the venue website wrote.
The cast includes Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Kelsey Chow, Julia Jones and Jon Bernthal.
