Experimental painter Navid Fard has set up his latest show at Iranian Artists Forum with a solo work.
One huge painting is hung at the Summer Gallery in IAF. It is Fard’s second solo exhibit in Iran. He is an emerging contemporary Iranian artist based in Toronto. His paintings are a mix of abstract and figurative forms, according to the Persian-language newspaper Donya-e-Eqtesad.
Under the banner of ‘Occurrence’, the exhibition opened on April 13 and will continue for 11 days. On display is a long stretch of cloth (33mX1.5m) painted with various materials and techniques. “The work narrates something Fard cannot put in words,” says the statement of the exhibit.
