French actor Jean-Pierre Léaud, best known for his performance in Francois Truffaut’s ‘400 Blows’ and Jean Luc Godard’s ‘Masculin Feminin’, will attend the 36th Fajr International Film Festival in Tehran. His career has gone hand in hand with the great French directors and influenced a further generation of directors in France as well as filmmakers in other cultures.  Léaud, 73, will participate in the Fajr Festival to share some of his experiences with local cineastes and fans and hold workshops, the festival website wrote. The 36th FIFF will be held at Charsou Cineplex in downtown Tehran,  April 19-27. The festival will host more than 300 special guests including prominent filmmakers, screenwriters, actors and film industry activists. Some guests of international fame are the  legendary Italian actor Franco Nero and American film director Oliver Stone. Acclaimed filmmaker Reza Mirkarimi is the secretary of the festival.
