Salar Aqili’s New Album Out

Labriz (brimming) is the name of the latest album composed by Majid Derakhshani, 61, sung by  traditional singer Salar Aghili, 40, and released by Chakavak Zenderood music company.
The 9-track album is available both in CD and online. The music news agency and website Ritmeno offers the online version at Ritmeno.ir.
Poet brothers Siavash and Sam Kord have written the lyrics of the album’s vocal pieces. Ali Jafari-Pouyan, Milad Alami and Meysam Marvasti play the violin while the latter also plays alto violin, the website Honaronline reported in Farsi. Other musicians contributing to the album are Karim Qorbani on cello, Nasser Rahimi on flute, Behzad Ravaqi on tar, and Hannaneh Saeedi on qanun.
