Five Iranian short films will be shown at the 42nd Annual Atlanta Film Festival, April 12-April 22, in Atlanta, state of Georgia in the US.
‘Lunch Time’ directed by Alireza Ghasemi, ‘To Be’, a co-production of Iran and Denmark, directed by Farzaneh Omidvarnia, ‘Highlight’, by Shahrzad Dadgar, ‘White House’ directed by Arastoo Mafakheri, and ‘Retouch’ by Kaveh Mazaheri are taking part in the event,  Mehr News Agency reported on its Farsi website.
Ghasemi’s 16-minute film ‘Lunch Time’ is the story of a 16-year-old girl who has come to hospital to identify the body of her mother, but is not allowed to enter the morgue because she is underage.
The 6-minute puppet film ‘To Be’ brilliantly depicts a part of human society seeking a place to live.
