The 2017 crime thriller ‘All the Money in the World’ by English director Ridley Scott will have a single screening on April 13 at Qolhak Cineplex.
Written by David Scarpa, based on John Pearson’s 1995 book ‘Painfully Rich: The Outrageous Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Heirs of J. Paul Getty’, it is a story of the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother to convince his billionaire grandfather Jean Paul Getty to pay the ransom, the venue’s website wrote.
J. Paul Getty was an American-British industrialist who founded the Getty Oil Company. In 1957 Fortune Magazine named him the richest living American, while the 1966 Guinness Book of Records named him as the world’s richest private citizen, worth an estimated $1.2 billion (approximately $9.05 billion in 2017).
