The Tehran concert programs of acclaimed Japanese musician and composer Masanori Takahashi, known by his nickname Kitaro, has been announced. He will perform for three nights at the Ministry of Interior Hall May 6-8.
Tickets to the event are available at Tiwall.com. Kitaro first held his concerts in Tehran in 2014 for four nights at the same venue, where he performed new age music that was warmly received.
According to music producer and manager Ali Cheragh-Ali, in the upcoming concerts Kitaro will perform a different repertoire compared to his last performance in Iran, ISNA reported.
Most Iranians know Kitaro, 65, for the beautiful music he made for the documentary ‘The Silk Road.’ Kitaro is one of the most popular and influential new age artists, having sold millions of records and toured across the world numerous times, in addition to winning the Grammy and Golden Globe awards.
