A rare collection of artworks on the subject of tree, created by a number of renowned Iranian artists, are on view at Emkan Art Gallery. The exhibit includes the works of veteran visual artist, painter and curator Fereydoun Ave, 72, landscape painter Davoud Emdadian (1944-2005), photographers Shahriar Tavakkoli, 49, and Mehran Mohajer, 54, filmmaker and photographe,r Abbas Kiarostami (1940-2016); painters Rana Farnoud, 65, Ali Golestaneh, 77, and Farshid Maleki, 75. Their works will remain on view until April 6.  Emkan Gallery is located at No. 77, Aqa-Mohammadi Alley near 7-Tir Square. Visiting hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. The gallery is closed on Saturdays, Gallery Info reported.
