Habibifar’s Movie for Italian Event

The short film ‘I Love You’ by screenwriter and film director Babak Habibifar will be screened at Skepto International Film Festival to be held on April 11-14 in Cagliari, Italy.

The competitive festival is focused on short films. It seeks to encourage and give exposure to independent filmmakers from all over the world, thereby creating an open space for dialogue and intercultural exchange.

Written by Morteza Jazzab, ‘I Love You’ relates the story of a lonely man who is hearing noises and want to find out what they mean.

Habibifar also serves as the producer, editor and actor in the film. Three years back, he won the Best Film Award of Skepto for his short ‘Fish and I,’ Mehr News Agency reported. The festival is open to short films with no limits as to their subject, style or production budget. It admits short films of all kinds, including documentaries, animated films, musical video-clips, video art, experimental short movies and mobile videos among others.

Skepto is a non-profit-making cultural association, born of the joint effort between enthusiasts of cinema, photography and visual arts.
